2. What should I bring to the track?
If you have your own racing gear, feel free to bring it. Otherwise, US Karting provides all equipment necessary to race. Be sure not to wear open-toe shoes.
3. Do I have to race to come to the events?
No. The events are open to everyone at no charge.
4. How does registration work?
Register online by clicking on the “Register” link for the event date. Select the race or package you want and then complete payment. It's that easy.
5. I can’t find my race time/category in the registration window. What do I do?
Call us at 703 439-1917 and we will walk you through it.
6. Are there any special promotions or coupons?
Yes! Check out the “Special Deals” section of the registration page. You can race all day or race all weekend. In addition, we offer special pricing for groups. Call us at 703 439-1917.
7. How old do I need to be to race karts?
Minimum height: 58" (4'10").
Generally, you should be 16 years old. However, we understand that many children from the ages of 8 on have quite a bit of racing experience! If you have gone to any kart racing or drivers school (or attended ours) – and can prove it – or you have raced at least 3 races for the WKA or a sanctioned kart-racing body, we will allow you to race under observation. If you have minimal experience, we may, on a case-by-case basis, allow you to run under observation. If you appear fit to drive, we will allow you to race. You should contact US Karting to receive clearance as soon as you know you will attend an event. Please be aware - even if you are an excellent racer and meet all other requirements - if you are not tall enough to fit in our karts than you cannot race. This is for your own safety.
8. What are the requirements for Drivers School?
You must be at least 12 years old and at least 58 inches in height.
9. What if it rains?
Believe or not, racing karts in the rain is crazy fun! We race in the rain as long as there is no lightning. If the weather becomes hazardous because of wind or lightning, we will stop racing until the hazardous elements have passed.
10. Can I have my event at your location?
Yes, absolutely! Call us to discuss what you have in mind. We aim to please!
